Many consider beach Anthony Quinn as one of the most beautiful beaches in Rhodes and the landscape is truly stunning. Surrounded by lush vegetation and the water is crystal clear with magical color of emerald. There are two sports center offering windsurfing and kitesurfing equipment and jets. Only a few kilometers away is the town of Rhodes with a maze of cobbled streets, souvenir shops and taverns.
Nearby is Mount Filerimos, where you can find the ruins of two temples, including the monastery Filerimos. Green Valley Petaludes known as the "Valley of the Butterflies" is also a fantastic place for a day trip during the months of June to September when you can enjoy the butterflies fluttering there in the black and white stripes.
